OTOH, have full time power back there can be useful for running utility lamp, air compressor, etc if you build a 7 prong plug to go into it. You might be able to insert a relay inline merely by tapping into it with the fuse terminals. I'd probably just pull the plug at night when stopping. This 7- and 4-pole trailer connector eliminates the need for an adapter and allows you to tow a trailer with either a 7- or 4-pole plug. OTOH, leaving it in play also provides the benefit of an overnight charge to the truck if connected with the converter powered up, provided that the additional load on the converter charge doesn't pop the 12VDC fuse. You could trace the harness and insert a relay inline with the coil triggered off an acc circuit somewhere.
I have a 22 without surround view but have the twelve. The brake and turn signal lights work great with the truck, just no running lights. All info currently available indicates RAM does theirs different than Ferd. The TTPMS is XG9 and wasnt available for orders until 2/5/20. Order code XFQ is the wiring and receptacles for the Aux Trailer Camera. The 12 pin is for the Mopar trailer camera and ttpms. It it used in both configurations- trailer surround view, or mopar aux trailer camera kit. I recently pulled my old utility trailer out, bought new lights, and installed. That sure looks like the 12-pin plug for the cameras. In my 2008 grand chero one had to reprogram the BCM to fire that relay to get power back there, or else it was a dead circuit, so the daimler/dodge family at some point had it switched.
